The five kits

Pick by distance. Where a cable reaches, the camera is cabled to your bench. Past that, a wireless station sits beside the target on its own battery and sends the picture home, with no cable to run. A pan-tilt-zoom camera turns between targets, so one camera covers several.

Unit
The computer and screen at your bench, in a hard case.
Camera
Aimed at your target. A fixed camera watches one target.
Wireless station
A battery and a radio in a hard case beside a downrange camera, so no cable runs to the target.
Pan-tilt-zoom camera
A camera the bench can turn and zoom, so one camera covers several targets, one at a time.

Five complete kits. Each fixed camera watches its own target; a pan-tilt-zoom camera turns between several. Change anything in the builder and the price follows. Every kit includes the unit with the software installed and licensed, a portable display, cameras with their stands and cables, battery and charger, a quick-start card, and a year of updates and support. The unit and every wireless station travel in a Nanuk hard case.

Every kit listens as well as watches. The camera sees every hole; the microphones check the detection. A bench microphone hears each shot, and every wireless station carries a microphone for the impact downrange, so every marked hole is backed by the sound of its shot. A shot heard with no new hole gets flagged.

Station add-ons

Power, wind and weather readings from downrange, right on your bench screen. These are coming, along with a basic station battery voltage reading. Add one in the builder's Add to this station group to register your interest; we confirm availability and price, and none is in today’s total.

Advanced power meter Coming

A station’s battery level, power use and estimated time left, right on the bench screen, so you know when to charge before it runs flat.

The price rule

Every kit above is priced this way, and so is any kit you build. Each extra camera includes its software license, and the license does not expire.

  1. Every system starts with the SpotterCam unit and one fixed camera: $3,990.
  2. Each wireless station: +$1,595 when it ships with a kit, or $1,795 bought later on its own.
  3. Each additional fixed camera: +$995, including its software license.
  4. A 25× zoom camera in place of a fixed camera: +$2,000.
  5. A 42× zoom camera in place of a fixed camera (coming, not yet built; pre-order): +$4,995. It needs a larger power supply at its station, and its battery runs a few hours, not a day.
  6. Score more than one lane at the same time: +$495 for each camera after the first. Without it, the unit scores one camera at a time and you switch between them with one tap. Individual shooters rarely need it; clubs running several lanes together do.
  7. A 30 Ah battery in a wireless station, in place of the standard 20 Ah: +$79 per station.

Every kit is exactly the sum of its parts; change anything and the total follows.

On our roadmap: each wireless station's battery voltage on the bench screen, coming with the first station kits.

Prices are introductory, in Canadian dollars, during the beta. Your invoice is the firm quote, with shipping, duties and tax.

Specs

Who it is for
Individual shooters, clubs and ranges.
Range
From the pistol bay to the far end of the range: cameras ride wireless stations beside the targets, so you see every hole up close while you shoot from far back. The wireless link is rated up to 10 km (6 miles) line of sight, per the radio's specification. Tell us your distances and we match the kit.
Ammunition
From airsoft and airgun pellets up to .50 cal, on paper targets.
Screen
A 14.5″ portable display with a compact keyboard and touchpad; settings backup and restore.
Battery
Each wireless station carries a 20 Ah battery: about 10 hours on one charge (estimate). A 30 Ah battery is an option for a longer day. Measured on our test kit: one pack ran the bench about 10 hours, and a station with the 25× zoom camera ran 20 to 23 hours on a 30 Ah pack. A fixed-camera station is not yet measured. Cold weather shortens every figure. Battery safety.
Pan-tilt-zoom
25× zoom, aimed from the bench, with a saved view for each target. Coming, not yet built: a 42× zoom camera, +$4,995 as a pre-order. It needs a larger power supply at its station, and its battery runs a few hours, not a day.
Internet
Shooting and recording work offline. Live streaming, updates and support requests need an internet connection. Your kit arrives activated.
Storage
Every session is recorded on the unit, and you can stream it live to YouTube, Twitch or any compatible service while it records. Nothing goes online unless you choose to send or stream it.
License
Perpetual: it does not expire. Each extra camera includes its software license. The first year of updates and support is included. After that the unit keeps working, and extended updates and support are available — ask us.
Ship date
It depends on parts and bench time; we confirm it with your quote.
Shipping
Canada and the United States.

How ordering works

  1. Build your kit and send it. Start from the kit closest to your range, change what you need, and send the build from the last step of the builder.
  2. We confirm the contents and send an invoice. We reply with exactly what is in your order and the total, with shipping, duties and tax.
  3. We build, license and test it here. The unit is assembled, the software installed and licensed for it, and every camera checked on our bench before it is packed.
  4. We ship it. To Canada or the United States. The date depends on parts and bench time; we confirm it with your invoice.

Add to a kit later

Add-ons for a system you already own are set up and tested here the same way, and arrive set up for your unit.

For ranges and clubs

A club system is the same equipment, sized to your line: one unit at the bench, a camera for each target you want scored at once, and a wireless station at each location past cable reach. Members use it with their own names; the range officer controls when cameras go out. Tell us the number of lanes, the distances, your busiest day and who will set it out, and we will build the quote with you. We put the contents and total in writing for your board before you commit.

Fewer cease-fires, nobody walking downrange to read paper, and every member's rounds kept under their own name. That is the case for your board.
