Privacy
SpotterCam is a tool you run at your own bench. It is built to keep your shooting on your own unit, and to tell you plainly the few times anything leaves it.
This website
- No analytics. We do not track your visit.
- No cookies. Nothing is stored in your browser.
- Loads nothing from any other server. Every file comes from this site, so your visit is not handed to a third party.
The SpotterCam app
- Sends nothing in the background. The app does not phone home on its own.
- A support ticket is sent only when you tap Send — and you can open and read it first.
What a support ticket contains
When you choose to send one, the ticket contains:
- Diagnostic logs — the app's own record of the session.
- Your settings — so we can reproduce your setup.
- Your description — what you typed into the ticket.
- Recent chat and notes — the last messages in the app's chat, including anything you or the troubleshooter wrote there.
- Build and machine info — version, build stamp, the camera in use, OS version.
- A picture of your target — one still from the camera as the ticket is made, and the last round's summary picture, so we can see what the camera saw.
What stays on your own unit
- Video recordings
- Audio
- The live view
- Your round history
None of these leave your machine unless you choose to send or stream them.
